After a car burst into flames, crews made a remarkable find inside the wreckage. They discovered a Bible relatively unharmed.
Witnesses said the car was struck by another car Sunday that kept going on state route 385. The vehicle then went off the road and ran into a pole.
A K9 officer and some good Samaritans rescued the driver from the burning vehicle before it exploded.
Witnesses said the driver was pinned against the steering wheel.
“All I could find was a gallon of water, so I went back and wet him so maybe it wouldn’t burn him and I could keep him as moist as possible,” Corey Kilpatrick told WMC Action News 5.
