A “temporary network interruption” knocked out service for many Comcast customers on Monday, but the cable giant says all services should be back to normal.
According to the website Down Detector, a spike in outage reports started around 9 a.m. ET, with many users noting issues with their Internet or cable TV service. A handful of customers appeared to have access to neither cable nor Internet.
In a statement, Comcast says they’ve repaired the interruption causing the outages, and “almost all services” are back up and running.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers,” reads a portion of Comcast’s statement.
