Stellar Award-nominated solo artist, Tina Campbell, stopped by Houston megachurch Lakewood Wednesday and blessed thousands with music from her debut solo album, It’s Personal.
After ministering two songs from the project, “I Call You Jesus” and “Holy Spirit,” the crowd roared, offering thanks to God and appreciation for her ministry.
“I’m grateful to have graced your pulpit,” wrote the WE tv reality star on Instagram in a personal message to pastors Joel and Victoria Osteen, leaders of one of America’s largest churches. “I enjoyed worshiping with you.”
She also expressed gratitude to John Gray, an associate pastor at Lakewood and his wife, Aventer Gray, for the invitation. “I luh yall,” she simply said.
Gray, who taught part four of his sermon series “Mind Games,” had hinted the week prior that a surprise guest might be joining Lakewood for Wednesday Bible study.
