R&B star Ciara has been criticized for wearing a revealing gown to sing at a college football championship game on Monday night, but her boyfriend Russell Wilson has come to her defense.
The “Goodies” singer performed a rendition of the national anthem before the College Football Playoff championship game at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona while wearing a plunging sparkly dress which exposed her cleavage.

Many viewers took to Twitter.com to label her outfit inappropriate in the family-friendly setting, including ESPN reporter Bonnie Bernstein who tweeted, “Dear Ciara. You’re stunning. But this is a National Championship Game. Kids are watching. Cover up.”
Her boyfriend, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, came to her defense by praising her appearance, writing, “I see you baby!! Sounded amazing & looked flawless in every way! @Ciara.”
She replied, “Awe … Thank You Baby (sic)!”
The singer has not directly responded to the criticism, but shared pictures from her performance and added, “Truly Grateful For This Moment, and To Be A Part Of A Special Night.”
