A Detroit man convicted in his wife’s death is scheduled to be sentenced in Wayne County Circuit Court this morning.
Erin Justice, 29, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Alicia Fox earlier this month, days before his case was set to go to trial. Her body was discovered in an abandoned home in June 2014.
Fox’s two children, Kaylah Hunter and Kristian Justice, remain missing. They were 6 years old and 8 months old when they disappeared last year.
Justice, who is Kristian’s father, has not been charged in connection with the missing kids.
He is to be sentenced by Wayne County Circuit Lawrence Talon in the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice today. A sentencing agreement in the case calls for 45 to 80 years in prison on the murder charge and an additional two years for a felony firearm charge, according to the prosecutor’s office.
