It would be hard to blame ventriloquist Paul Zerdin if he couldn’t keep his mouth shut after winning America’s Got Talent Wednesday.
Zerdin gets a $1 million grand prize for claiming victory in the the 10th anniversary season of the NBC talent competition, which once again ranks as summer’s most-watched series.
Zerdin, crowned champion at Radio City Music Hall in New York, won the contest for viewer votes with strong performances in which he used comedic characters and personalities to showcase his ventriloquism skills. He triumphed over a field of talented finalists, including Benton Blount, Derek Hughes, Drew Lynch, Gary Vider, Oz Pearlman, Piff the Magic Dragon, the Craig Lewis Band, the Professional Regurgitator and Uzeyer Novruzov.
The talented English ventriloquist will headline “America’s Got Talent Live” in Las Vegas from Oct. 22 to 24 at the PH Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Ticket information can be found at http://www.AGTVegas.com.
