Patriots Staffers Could Still Face Discipline for Deflategate


The New England Patriots requested last week — in the wake of quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game suspension related to Deflategate being nullified — that two suspended staffers, equipment assistant John Jastremski and officials locker room attendant Jim McNally, both be reinstated.

The NFL said the request was “under review,” and new details of that review process emerged Sunday.

Troy Vincent, the NFL’s executive vice president of football operations, has formally requested to meet with both Jastremski and McNally before either is reinstated by the Patriots, sources informed of the situation told’s Ian Rapoport.

Both employees face discipline for their role in the apparent deflation of footballs, sources told Rapoport.
