On Saturday, August 29, 2015 the Senior Pastor of Nations Ford Community Church, Bishop Phillip M. Davis, passed away due to an accidental shooting while in his Union County home.
Bishop Davis was a prolific, focused man of vision as well as an effective leader who served God selflessly and touched countless lives. His teachings were profound and transformative. His passion was to help people reach their fullest potential in Christ and to “Occupy Their Destiny.”
On Behalf of the members of Nations Ford Community Church, we would like to express our deepest condolences to the Davis family. The bible says, “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
We would like to encourage everyone to honor his memory by reflecting on his many words of encouragement and his many acts of love and service. Nations Ford Community Church will hold a Prayer Vigil Monday evening in memory of Bishop Davis.

BIOGRAPHY – DR. PHILLIP M. DAVIS
Dr. Phillip M. Davis, Founder & Senior Pastor of Nations Ford Community Church, was a visionary, a leader, and anointed speaker. Dr. Davis planted several churches throughout the United States. He was also the founder of the Male Leadership Academy of Charlotte and Envision Life School of Leadership and Ministry. Dr. Davis received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio, his Master of Ministry and his Doctor of Divinity from the Carolina School of Theology. He was also a Certified Professional Coach from The Dream Releaser Coaching Institute and President of Phillip Davis Ministries, Dr. Davis authored two books, “The Vision Casting Congregation”, “Father Force” and soon to be released, “The Untapped Power of a Man”. He served as a Board Member on the North Carolina Division of Social Services. Dr. Davis’s radio broadcast, EnVision Life has aired for many years on WordNet Radio. He is remembered by his wife Cynthia of 42 years and his partner in ministry, as well as their three children and three grandchildren.
