A 24-year-old man wanted for the rape of a child by Hanover Borough Police has been captured in the Raleigh, N.C. area.
Jose Andres-Jose is being held in the Wake County Jail in Raleigh on charges of rape, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a child and several related counts.
Andres-Jose, an undocumented immigrant from Guatemala, was arrested Friday morning after police tracked him to a residence in Raleigh, where he was using the alias of Luis Rodriguez.
The underlying crime occurred July 18 in the borough of Hanover, according to charging documents, but no other details were immediately available.
The arrest was coordinated by the U.S. Marshals Service, and Andres-Jose will eventually be transported by to Pennsylvania to face the charges.
