Donald Trump is Back At It: Sends Insulting Tweets About Megyn Kelly, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, and Others

He may be limited to 140 characters, but Donald Trump’s Twitter war knows no bounds. His latest targets include his opponents for the Republican presidential nomination — and, once again, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Trump’s latest tirade began Monday night when he lashed out at Kelly with this tweet:

He then re-tweeted a message from one of his nearly 4 million Twitter followers that called Kelly a bimbo.

The battle began at the first Republican debate earlier this month. Kelly asked Trump about his inflammatory statements about women.

Trump later posted tweets saying Kelly “bombed” and was “unprofessional.” He even said in an interview on CNN: “She had blood coming out of her eyes, she had blood coming out of her wherever.”

Many took that to be a reference to her menstrual period.

After a back and forth with Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes, the feud seemed to be over. But Tuesday Ailes called Trump’s latest attacks “crude and irresponsible.” He also said “Donald Trump rarely apologizes, although in this case, he should.”

Trump fired back that Kelly’s questioning in the debate was “very unfair,” and he gave no sign that he intends to apologize.

Trump also lobbed a steady barrage of Twitter bombs Tuesday at his fellow Republican presidential candidates, especially Jeb Bush.

And when Bush referred to Trump’s plan for a fence on the border, Trump shot back: “It’s not a fence, Jeb, it’s a WALL, and there’s a BIG difference!”

In Colorado Tuesday Bush dismissed Trump’s idea for a wall.

“It’s a great soundbite,” Bush said, “but it’s not defensible in terms of a practical policy.”

Trump also attacked Marco Rubio, Scott Walker and Lindsey Graham. He bragged that a new poll shows him leading by a wide margin in South Carolina in a tweet that sounded like a school yard taunt:

Graham responded in an interview on CNN: “Come to South Carolina and I’ll beat his brains out.”

Trump is scheduled to be in South Carolina this Thursday — and you can bet the political world will be watching to see exactly what Lindsey Graham has in mind.
