Rapper Slim Thug Features Joel Osteen on “Chuuch” Song

Houstonian Slim Thug’s latest record features a well-known Houston name.

In his latest song, “Chuuch,” a track features a sermon from Joel Osteen, pastor at Houston’s Lakewood Church. The song is a mix of Osteen preaching and Slim Thug singing about spending time and associating yourself with the right people.

“You can’t hang out with chickens and expect to soar with Eagles,” Osteen is quoted as saying in the song.

Though contrary to early reports, the two didn’t team up to collaborate on the track, according to a Lakewood Church spokesperson.

The song has been widely praised on YouTube.
