New York governor Andrew Cuomo says he’s boosting security in the state ahead of Fourth of July celebrations Saturday.
About seven-thousand extra New York City officers are expected to be on hand tomorrow for the big Macy’s fireworks show.
As many as three million people are expected to attend.
The increase in security comes on the heels of a warning from federal officials that July 4th gatherings could be targets for terror threats.
