Meagan Good Shares How She Was Once Afraid of Losing Herself In Marriage

How do you go from building your career as a Hollywood sex symbol to being a minister’s wife and not losing who you are?

Christian actress Meagan Good said she was once fearful that it wasn’t possible, but after three years of marriage, her perspective has shifted.

Good’s fear was “I would lose myself in marriage,” she wrote in an honest and lengthy Instagram post.

The Think Like A Man actress developed this fearfulness after she had “a very dear friend tell me they feared for me. They feared in marriage I would conform to something unnatural to my essence.”

Certain qualities like “my sensuality, my boldness, my fearlessness, my gift to not conform,” wrote Good, were things she was afraid would fade.

But these days, the 33-year-old content wife finds herself in a different place mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
