Earlier this month Janet Jackson announced she would release her first album in seven years in the fall, and on Monday, after teasing a new track, the singer released “No Sleeep,” first song from the untitled LP. “I dedicate this to my love,” she tweeted.
“No Sleeep” is a collaboration with her longtime producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and will be available to purchase at midnight via Rhythm Nation/ BMG, which Jackson recently called her “new artistic home.”
Jackson had promised fans “new music, new world tour, a new movement” for 2015, and she’ll kick off the 36-date Unbreakable World Tour in August.
