George H.W. Bush Turns 91

Unlike his wife Barbara (above with the entire Bush clan) who had a star-studded party earlier in the week for her 90th birthday, George kept things low key

Today is former President George H.W. Bush’s 91st birthday.

Earlier this week his wife and former first lady Barbara Bush had a birthday of her own, turning 90 years old on Monday, June 8.

According to spokesman Jim McGrath, the former president and patriarch of the Bush clan won’t be jumping out of any airplanes for this birthday, as he did last year. Instead he will continue spending time at the clan’s compound in Kennebunkport, Maine on Walker’s Point.

It will be a low-key affair, McGrath said.

Earlier this year Bush and the former first lady celebrated 70 years of marriage.
