The time to appreciate the man that provided us with all our coveted Apple products is slowly drawing nearer. This fall, the film exploring the life and rise of tech innovator, Steve Jobs, will grace big screens nationwide. Universal Pictures has officially released a first look of the film to build up the momentum.
In the mini-trailer, Michael Fassbender, who plays Jobs, is greeted not only by the voices of doubters of his iMac products, but the thunderous applause of those who support it. We also get to see the other power players the story will follow, such as former Macintosh marketing chief Joanna Hoffman (Kate Winslet), Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak (Seth Rogan), former Apple CEO John Sculley (Jeff Daniels), Jobs’ ex-girlfriend Chrisann Brennan (Katherine Waterson) and original Apple Macintosh team member Andy Hertzfeld (Michael Stuhlbarg).
Steve Jobs officially hits theaters on October 9. Until then, watch the trailer below.
