President Obama makes one last appearance with David Letterman on Monday night.
It will be Obama’s eighth appearance on Letterman’s Late Show, his third as president, according to CBS.
The president “last appeared on the broadcast Sept. 18, 2012, and prior to that on Sept. 21, 2009,” said CBS statement. “As an Illinois senator, he appeared on the Late Show five times, beginning in 2004 and continuing through his 2008 presidential campaign.”
Letterman retires from the show May 20; Stephen Colbert takes the helm later this year.
First lady Michelle Obama appeared with Letterman on Thursday.
Obama will stop by the Late Show while in New York for other events Monday.
