Even though I love to see excellence in everything, and Floyd Mayweather represents excellence in boxing, Christian men who pay to watch him fight are big hypocrites.
First of all, Christian men who will spend God’s good money to see Floyd Mayweather, a man who has been charged with domestic violence six times and served two months in jail, are hypocrites because they know what the Bible says. Proverbs 22:24 says, “Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:”
Second, Christian men who spend money to see Mayweather fight and who root for him are hypocrites because they know that if their brother-in-law was a boxing champion whose hands could be registered as lethal weapons, and it was proven that that brother-in-law hit his sister in any way, they would get a gun and say “now box this.”
Third, Christian men who spend God’s good money to see Mayweather fight are big hypocrites because they are financially supporting a man who disrespects women, beats women, and who has been convicted and put in jail for doing so. No man should hit a woman under any circumstances and certainly not a world champion boxer.
Red, yellow, black, and white Christian men ought to pull for Christian brother, Manny Pacquiao. But they should wait to see the results of the fight free on the news or in the newspaper.
