Oklahoma Undersheriff Tim Albin Resigns After Shooting Death of Eric Harris

The Tulsa County undersheriff has resigned weeks after the fatal shooting of a suspect by a reserve deputy who said he mistook a gun for Taser, the Tulsa County sheriff said on Monday.

Undersheriff Tim Albin’s resignation follows the release of documents into the investigation of Reserve Deputy Robert Bates, 73, who was charged with second-degree manslaughter in the fatal shooting of Eric Harris, 44, during an arrest on April 2.
