A funeral service for Crystal Cathedral founder Robert H. Schuller has been scheduled for 10 a.m. April 20 at the Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove, his daughter Carol Schuller-Milner said Saturday.
The public service will be held in the plaza. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange now owns the property, which was purchased when the Crystal Cathedral Ministries filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2010.
The closed casket memorial will end with a procession into the Memorial Gardens where Schuller will be buried next to his wife, Arvella, who died a little over a year ago.
Schuller-Milner said the burial will be private, but the public will be welcome to view from outside the perimeter of the Memorial Gardens.
