‘Touching Lives by Sharing the Gift of Encouragement’ is the mantra for the Gardena Valley & Vicinity Ministers’ Wives & Ministers’ Widows Sisterhood Connection as they observe Women’s History Month.
The group was founded and organized by Dr. Kathye Jenkins in 2000 and over the years, has conducted a range of outreach activities to assist women of all ages in the greater L.A. area.
Their outreach ministry, Cynthia Perry Ray Foundation, Inc., provides religious, educational, social and economic support to improve the quality of life in churches and communities.
“A great sisterhood is formed by spending united time together and sharing the joys including the daily challenges of our faith. Our lives become most joyful and life impacting when we share the common bond of unity, love and trust,” said Sisterhood President Prudence Wright.
