To President Obama and Attorney General Holder:

Attorney General Holder, it was our prayer and hope that your last act would be to put in place a provision to protect the church of the Lord Jesus Christ and all Christian organizations from the attacks being made, even on your watch, by homosexual marriage proponents and homosexual people against the Christian church. Doing this would preserve our freedom to preach against what the Bible calls not only a sin but an “abomination” and what we believe will destroy our society as we know it today. As you know, there are several cases going on right now where homosexuals have taken Christian business owners to court for refusing to serve them as a matter of religious conviction. The mayor of Houston is harassing and taking to court local pastors for preaching what the Bible says against homosexuality. And recently, the Atlanta fire chief was fired for writing a Christian book speaking out against the sin of homosexuality and other sins.

Numerous other incidents have happened involving homosexual marriage proponents and the church. This will increase as time goes on, and it will get worse if you and President Obama do not do the same thing you’re doing for homosexuals, and that is: just as you are seeking to protect homosexuals against discrimination, that you also seek to protect churches, religious institutions, and Christians from homosexuals suing them because churches refuse to compromise their religious convictions. While you are helping the homosexuals, as you prepare to leave office, we are asking you to help churches as well and make sure that your successor, Loretta Lynch, understands that she needs to do the same. It is imperative that you help churches maintain their First Amendment rights as stated below:

The First Amendment provides that Congress make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise. It protects freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

While you are doing everything you can to seal your legacy among liberals, progressives, and homosexuals, let me remind you that if you want your legacy to be respected among black people and the church in general, you need to make sure that rock solid provisions are made so that churches cannot be sued by homosexuals because the church disagrees with their sinful lifestyle and refuses to let them use their sanctuaries and reception halls for their weddings, or teach at their schools, or let men who transform themselves into women go in female bathrooms, etc. To name a few, here are some of the denominations and the number of people they represent:

  • Southern Baptist Convention – 15.74 million
  • National Association of Evangelicals – 9.8 million
  • Church of God in Christ – 8 million
  • National Baptist Convention (USA) – 7.5 million
  • United Methodist – 7.7 million
  • African Methodist Episcopal – 2.5 million
  • Progressive National Baptist – 2.5 million
  • National Missionary Baptist (America) – 1 million
  • Catholic Church – 78.2 million

This is a total of approximately 134 million Christian people in America that you need to protect from having to compromise their convictions to support something that is wrong.

Also, although we appreciate your support in visiting Black Christian News Network One (, we have noticed a sudden increase of people from the Justice Department coming to our site. We hope this is only for devotional, inspirational, and educational reasons (if that’s the case, by all means, keep on visiting; we love having you), and not because we’re under some kind of investigation due to some of the articles that we have run against homosexual marriage, against abortion, and supporting the right of free speech for the church. The articles that we ran based upon President Obama’s own adviser and friend stating that he lied to the American people and to the church about his not believing in homosexual marriage before he got elected and that he did not “evolve” on the matter as he said he did, is a subject that was dealt with by all major news agencies.

Also, even though we disagree with you and President Obama greatly regarding the issues mentioned above, the truth of the matter is, we are the only Christian site, as far as we know, that has publicly kept a “pray for President Obama and his family” advertisement on our site encouraging all people to pray for the President and his family each and every day since he took office as president because we genuinely love the President and everyone in the administration. And the publisher and editor of this publication, his family and staff have prayed for the President and his administration every day.

We believe that because of our stance we have had strange things to happen to us as we have reported to local police, the FBI, as well as to your office especially before our property was burned down, so we are asking that your office would make sure that just because we have taken some firm stands that you, the President and others disagree with, that you make sure the publisher of this site and his family as well as all Christians are protected going forward. Since the publisher of this site is a Christian, he does not fear death, is ready for death, and actually welcomes death or the rapture of the church. For him and for all Christians, the Bible says in Philippians 1:21, 23-24, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain….For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.” However, if the Lord is going to tarry His coming, he would like to stay around to try to help save this country from total destruction.

He and his family would like to continue to reside in America without any fear of retribution and harassment from the government or anyone else because of our biblical stands against homosexuality, homosexual marriage, abortion, and against the taking away of our right to free speech among other things.

Below is the evidence of a recent increase in the visits from the Justice Department, the IRS, the U.S. State Department, the Executive Office of the President, and the White House.

*We have records of many other organizations visiting our site.

With love and respect,
