Prince and his group 3rdEyeGirl will start a series of Hit & Run Tour concerts next week. The first show, March 14 in Louisville, Ky., will be a hometown concert for 3rdEyeGirl drummer Hannah Welton.
Prince performed a series of Hit & Run shows last year in the U.K., announcing them via Twitter. Next week’s Louisville concert will be the first Hit & Run show in the U.S.
Tickets will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. local time, and a venue will be announced at a later date. A portion of the show’s proceeds will be donated to local charities.
