A company that trains motivational speakers and sales executives has bought a church building in Scottsdale for its corporate headquarters.
Blair Singer‘s Scottsdale Training Facility Partners LLC has bought the Impact Church building near the Scottsdale Airpark for $3.3 million or $143 per square foot.
Impact Church’s pastoral team includes former NFL football player Andre Wadsworth. Tim Tebow and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald have attended services there.
Wadsworth said Impact is building a new church near its existing home and will lease back space from Singer during construction.
Singer will use the building as the corporate headquarters for his motivational speaking and sales businesses. He also has authored several books.
Wadsworth said Impact has a two-year lease at the building and an option for another year.
The Evangelical church has attracted some high-profile attendees including Tebow and Fitzgerald.
Impact Senior Pastor Travis Hearn is also team pastor for the Phoenix Suns.
The 23,000-square-foot building purchased is located on 83rd Way near Hayden Road.
Colliers International Executive Vice President Greg Hopley represented Impact Church.
