The Hobbs family will forever be a part of the legacy of Black History in the city of Buffalo—something that left award-winning faith-based urban media specialist Dianna Hobbs “humbled and grateful.”

In a Facebook post following the award ceremony, the Empowering Everyday Women Ministries Founder shared her sentiments.

“Thank you Mayor Brown for the honor,” she said, adding, “It touched us deeply. We remain humble & grateful.”

Mrs. Hobbs and her husband Kenya Hobbs, a prestigious couple in their city, received the distinugished recognition during a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Black History Month.

The two are proud parents of four children: Kyla, Kaiah, Kedar and Kaleb.
