The Seattle Seahawks appeared to make an awkward misstep in the road leading up to the Super Bowl — on their official Twitter account.
The team’s account tweeted out a photo comparing the team’s struggles to those of the Civil Rights movement, using a photo of a crying Russell Wilson with a Martin Luther King Jr. quote.
The tweet was deleted, but not before being screengrabbed by dozens of Twitter users (welcome to the Internet) and addressed by shocked and offended followers.
