Same sex couples in Florida will be able to be legally married beginning next week, making Florida the 36th state with legal gay marriage.
There’s been a lot of confusion over whether same sex couples could actually get married beginning Jan. 6 because of an extensive legal wrangling that’s been going on for months over the issue.
On Wednesday, Circuit Court Judge Timothy Shea tried to clear the air by saying county clerks may begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples beginning Jan. 6.
