Get ready to sing, dance, stomp and clap! Mount Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro presents Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity December 20 and 21, 2014.
Shayla Thompson, who directed Mount Zion’s production said, “When you come to experience Langston Hughes’ poetry, his words are going to excite you. Be ready to sing, laugh, dance, cry,” she added. “We are going to take you on a journey.”
Mount Zion Baptist Church has three shows of Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity:
Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
All shows are at Mount Zion Baptist Church which is located at 1301 Alamance Church Road in Greensboro, N.C.
It’s free to go, but please bring a canned food item.
