Tyler Perry is taking on a new role — that of father — as he and model girlfriend, Gelila Bekele, have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
Their new son was born on November 30th and is named Aman Tyler Perry the Insider With Yahoo has confirmed.
Perry told Extra that he planned to cut down on his schedule to make time for the baby. “I slowed down on film for a while and I’m just working on television,” he said, “which allows me time to be home and slow things down, which is very important right now.”
People reports that the mother and father sent out a birth announcement that requested donations to the non-profit Charity Water instead of gifts for their little one.
