The US Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed that another earthquake occurred near Irving, TX. Initial reports set the magnitude of the quake at 2.7.
According to the USGS the quake occurred at 4:39pm local time on Tuesday, November 25.
Area residents began reporting the temblor on social media soon after the event took place.
This is the fifth earthquake in that area in four days.One that occurred on November 23 was the strongest with a magnitude of 3.3.
“Just felt another tremor in Las Colinas area. That’s 5 in 4 days now,” tweeted @chemguy73. Las Colinas is near Irving, TX.
