Black Friday is just days away, along with a host of deals for shoppers willing to brave the crowds flocking to stores.
The Better Business Bureau has a number of tips for making sure you’re shopping smart during Black Friday:
Comparison shop – The ads are out and there are dozens of Black Friday websites claiming to capture the best deals around. Spend some time to compare information, quantity limits, and prices. Use your smart devices and apps to help.
Plan Ahead – A map of your shopping locations might be a good idea, but don’t forget to sign up for store alerts from your favorites and bring your reward cards to get the best, last minute deal information.
Honest Advertising – Tis the season for sales. Look for clear details about the deal and time for the sale. Some retails will even limit the hours on a certain day. If the ad seems misleading or deceptive, consider other options and report it to BBB.
