Office Depot and Office Max Merger Creates More Choices for National Baptist Convention Members

office

Dear NBC Constituents,

Office Depot and Office Max have merged together as one company. We are sure there are some questions on how this affects our National Baptist Discount Program with Office Depot and our National Baptist Congress Dream Makers Scholarship Fund. We want to assure you that our national discount program is still active in spite of the merger, please see the information below:

Q. Does the merger affect the national discount program?
A. No, the merger does not affect the national discount program and NBC constituents can still receive all the program discounts and use the National Baptist Store Discount Card in the retail stores.

Q. Can you use the NBC Store Discount Card and get the program discounts in all the Office Max stores?
A. Sometime in early 2015, all of the Office Max stores will honor the program.

Q. What if I have an Office Max in close proximity and I want to use the program discounts?
A. Please call the store prior to shopping and ask for the manager of the store to inquire if they are honoring the National Baptist Discount Program. If they are not, please shop at your closest Office Depot.

Q. Does the merger affect the National Baptist Congress Dream Makers Scholarship Fund?
A. No, it does not. A percentage of all sales continues to fund the National Baptist Congress Dream Makers Scholarship Fund.

Thank you for your support of this National Baptist Convention partnership! We find great joy in serving you through this National Discount Program!
