Police are searching for a 22-year-old Philadelphia woman whose abduction was caught on surveillance video Sunday night.

Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was walking in Germantown, Pa., at around 9:40 p.m. when a man grabbed her at a street corner and pushed her down the block into his dark four-door sedan, police said.

“I heard a whole bunch of screaming,” witness John Wayne told NBC 10. “She was screaming, ‘help, help!'”

The video shows a car, possibly a gray Ford Taurus, pull up to West Coulter Street, according to police. The driver gets out, walks up the block and less than a minute later comes back, dragging a struggling Freeland-Gaither. At one point, Freeland-Gaither falls to the ground to resist the man, who then throws her into the backseat.

Freeland-Gaither kicked out the rear driver and passenger side windows before the car sped away, police said.

Police found Freeland-Gaither’s glasses and mobile phone on the ground next to where she was kidnapped. They picked up a glove Monday morning as possible evidence, according to 6ABC.
