Washington Redskins Team Buses Involved in Accident on Way to Stadium

The Washington Redskins are in Minneapolis to play the Vikings, and the team buses were involved in an accident en route to TCF Bank Stadium. Wide receiver Pierre Garçon tweeted a photo from the bus that shows a cracked windshield. Garçon reports that the players are “ok.”

NBC4’s Diana Russini has more details.

The bus was stopped midway up the Huron Boulevard SE ramp from I-94. About a half-dozen squad cars were in front of the bus, and debris was visible on the ramp. With a little less than four hours to kickoff, an SUV with its lights flashing blocked the entrance to the ramp while the accident was cleared.
