The Washington Redskins are in Minneapolis to play the Vikings, and the team buses were involved in an accident en route to TCF Bank Stadium. Wide receiver Pierre Garçon tweeted a photo from the bus that shows a cracked windshield. Garçon reports that the players are “ok.”
NBC4’s Diana Russini has more details.
The bus was stopped midway up the Huron Boulevard SE ramp from I-94. About a half-dozen squad cars were in front of the bus, and debris was visible on the ramp. With a little less than four hours to kickoff, an SUV with its lights flashing blocked the entrance to the ramp while the accident was cleared.
