Police Killer in Pennsylvania Has Reportedly Been Captured

Eric Frein, suspected of killing one Pennsylvania state trooper and wounding another in a September ambush, has surrendered to authorities, a Philadelphia TV stations reported Thursday evening.

WPVI and KYW both cited two law enforcement sources.The Pennsylvania State Police have not officially confirmed those reports.

The 31-year-old had eluded capture in the rugged woods of the Pocono Mountains since the Sept. 12 attack on the state police barracks in Blooming Grove, a rural hamlet about 25 miles from the Canadensis home where Frein lived with his parents.

Frein was described as a survivalist and expert marksman who role-played as a Serbian soldier.
