Mathew Knowles was in a Houston courtroom this week, to answer a child support claim from his third daughter’s mother, 30-year-old Taqoya Branscomb. The former lingerie model says DNA testing proves that Knowles is the father of her daughter Koi, born in 2010. Interview on Inside Edition this week, Branscomb said Knowles initial reaction was one of disbelief as he told her he’d had a vasectomy.
Branscomb is the second women to come forward with a claim for child support. Canadian actress Alexsandra Wright, 43, has a son with Knowles as well. She was forced to move out her Los Angeles home and into a trailer with her son, Nixon, after Knowles claimed he didn’t have enough money to pay the court-ordered $12,5000 a month in child support. When those payments were decreased to $2500, Wright, who also had Nixon in 201o, says she was forced to move into a trailer.
