In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Senator Ted Cruz says he hopes that this incident where Houston pastors have been told to hand over their sermons will help spark revival in America and wake up evangelicals in this country to get more politically involved. “It is my hope that what we are seeing today will spark a revival, a revival of faith but also a revival of leadership, a revival of pastors who tell every member of their congregation it is your obligation, your moral obligation, your civic obligation and your biblical obligation to speak up and be involved, to speak up for truth, to go and register to vote and vote and hold your elected officials accountable because the way liberty is taking away is too many of us sit back and allow our liberties to be stripped away.”
