Samaritan’s Purse plans to airlift 90 tons of supplies to ISIS victims in Syria on Monday.
The supplies will be launched from Charlotte Douglas International Airport at 10:30 a.m. Samaritan’s Purse says the supplies are for families who escaped brutal ISIS attacks and are facing harsh winter conditions in refugee camps.
The organization hopes to help the people survive the freezing temperatures by providing them with blankets, winter coats, warm socks, sleeping bags and shelter materials.
The international Christian relief organization wants to get the necessary items to the families before winter strikes.
Franklin Graham and other members of the Samaritan’s Purse staff will be assisting Monday.
