Fayetteville police are looking for a 23-year-old man they say was involved in three shootings within an hour early Saturday.

Luther Gatling, 23, of the 200 block of Teague Street in Fayetteville, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He also is wanted on a felonious probation violation.

Three people were injured in the shootings, according to a statement released Saturday by the Fayetteville Police Department.

Officers first responded about 3:19a.m. to reports of a shooting in the 4900 block of Bragg Boulevard, the release said. A dark sports utility vehicle pulled into the parking lot of a business and struck a curb, the release said.

When people in the parking lot and the driver exchanged words, someone else in the vehicle starting shooting at the people, police said. One person was shot in the leg, and another was grazed by a bullet, according to police.
