A 4-year-old autistic boy was reported missing Thursday and four people were found slain near his home in Hudson, Fla., authorities say.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says Ismael Tristan Santisteban was last seen at his home Aug. 28. During a welfare check Thursday, the child was discovered missing, and there were signs at the home of foul play.
A search of the area revealed four bodies were discovered outside less than a mile from the home. Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco says the victims appear to be of two adult males and two adult females. They had not been identified Thursday evening.
Authorities say they are looking for 28-year-old Adam Matos, who could be traveling in a 1991 blue Ford F150 pickup truck. Detectives describe Matos as a person of interest.
Nocco said Matos is believed to be Tristan’s father. Matos is from Pennsylvania, but investigators say he has family in Florida.
