The lead pastor of a Denver area church has died in what was described as a climbing incident in India.
Terry Broadwater worked at Grace Community Church on South Clinton Street in Englewood.
He was one of his sons and several members of the church in a remote part of the Himalayas mountains when the incident happened, according to the church’s website. The cause of death so far is not available and the church’s website some of the details surrounding the death aren’t clear at this point.
Broadwater and his wife were married for 32 years. He had three children and two grandchildren, and loved hiking and outdoor recreation.
