Rep. Frank Wolf Rebukes His Own Presbyterian Denomination for Approving Homosexual Marriage on House Floor

 

Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., rebuked his own church denomination for changing its stance on marriage.

Wolf, a Presbyterian, was referring to the church’s vote to recognize same-sex marriage as a Christian event in the church constitution.

Calling himself a “follower of Jesus,” Wolf said he’s “deeply grieved by what transpired at last week’s gathering of the PCUSA’s general assembly.”

Speaking on the House floor Tuesday, Wolf said the vote violates the biblical definition of marriage as a joining of one man and one woman.
