More than a week after launch, Amazon’s music service Prime Music is “exceeding” expectations, says the company.
In a statement released Monday, Amazon says users have already streamed “tens of millions” of songs and created more than 1 million playlists.
“We’re humbled and thrilled to see just how enthusiastically customers have responded to this service,” says Steve Boom, vice president of digital music at Amazon, in a statement. Boom notes Prime Music usage is “exceeding our expectations.”
