Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr. and The House of Hope Atlanta stands with #BringOurGirlsBack

God has given me a Word and a movement entitled, “Carpenters At Work”. It is in times like these that the church is reminded that we are more than just religious institutions, 4 walled buildings, church attenders, but we are carpenters at work just as Jesus was! This is not a situation that He would have overlooked and it can’t be one that the modern church ignores!

No longer the days of allowing Hollywood and other communities to make louder noises than the church on subjects that matter and affect us all as children of God.

This past Sunday the Lord laid it upon my heart to dedicate my Sunday morning service to the hundreds of young girls and families that have been affected in Nigeria over the past two weeks.

I believe in the intangible Word of God and there is always scripture to back up any situation. I am reminded of the story in Genesis 34: 1-5, “And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.

2 And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.

3 And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel.

4 And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.

5 And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.”

These are our daughters and we will stand in righteousness until the effectual fervent prayers are heard by God and man!
