An investigation is underway after Harris County deputies say a pastor was found dead in the garage of a North Houston apartment complex on Ella Boulevard.
The 53-year-old pastor was discovered Saturday afternoon at the Mariposa Apartment garage by a neighbor who was walking a dog.
The Harris County deputy who responded to the scene said the man appeared to be suffering from a head trauma.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Investigators are now waiting for the autopsy to determine the cause of the victim’s death.
A witness told investigators about a dark-colored pickup truck they saw earlier Saturday. The witness reported seeing the victim and the driver talking but they didn’t see anything out of the ordinary.
Later on that day, the witness told investigators about a loud bang that sounded like someone or something had fallen.
