Former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell is sharing his government insight as a visiting professor at Liberty University.
The university’s Helms School of Government plans to tap into “McDonnell’s extensive career experience in business, law, public policy and government,” according to a statement from Liberty President Jerry Falwell Jr.
McDonnell recently taught an upper-level international relations course at the Lynchburg, Va., university in his new role.
“I am privileged to have the opportunity to teach the outstanding young people at Liberty University who will be future leaders for the state and nation,” McDonnell said in a statement released by the university. “Liberty’s international reach, dynamic growth, and focus on excellence make it a force in higher education.”
