Erica Campbell Releases Debut Album, “Help”


Mary Mary member Erica Campbell is living the solo life as fans take a look at her world with the release of her debut album “Help.”

Described by Campbell as “Motown meets gospel meets rock ‘n’ roll,” “Help” includes the song “A Little More Jesus” and the title track,” which features rapper Lecrae. The project, which also boasts production from Campbell’s husband and longtime studio collaborator, Warryn Campbell, marks a new chapter for the entertainer, who couldn’t contain her excitement about the work she has created.

“I’m so excited about this music,” the singer says, “just being me and sharing my heart with the world. I want people to know there is help and there is hope!”

In addition to the standard edition, fans can also purchase special 2-disc CD/DVD edition of “Help” at Wal-Mart. The limited edition album features the video for the title track as well as an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at WE tv’s hit reality show “Mary Mary.”

To help promote “Help,” Campbell will appear on various TV shows as well as perform live at different events. Fans can catch the entertainer on VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live,” which airs at 10 a.m. Thursday. That same day, she will perform “Help” and the song “All I Need Is You,” on TBN’s “Praise The Lord,” which airs at airing 7:00 pm PT.
