Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church, 132 N. Stanislaus St., will take part in National Black Marriage Day for the third year in a row this Sunday.
The event, in its 11th year nationwide, was brought to San Joaquin County by Anthony Steele, pastor of Ebenezer AME Church.
Steele will preside over an 11 a.m. worship service during which couples can reaffirm their wedding vows or get married for the first time.
The event is free and open to the public.
