Ministry Watch Has Given TBN the Lowest Grade for Ministry Transparency

A ministry watchdog organization has handed the world’s largest Christian broadcasting network the lowest grade for ministry transparency.

In the wake of fresh allegations against the ministry, MinistryWatch.com has given Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) an “F” for its lack of transparency, alleged abuse of donor funds and family conflicts. The organization has seen a drop in donations over the years and currently faces several lawsuits (see earlier story).
“Trinity Broadcasting Network does not really open up about its finances and doesn’t have a lot of the financial statements that it makes available to people like ourselves,” explains MinistryWatch founder Rusty Leonard, who is also CEO of Stewardship Partners. “They are required by law to have tax forms published.”
