Authorities say two doctors accused of performing late-term abortions in Maryland have been arrested and charged with murder.
At least one case involved a woman who was critically injured during a procedure. She was taken to a Maryland hospital following “a severely botched abortion” that doctors reported to police.
Cheryl Sullinger of Operation Rescue tells OneNewsNow that is when their abortion activities started unraveling.
“The police came and raided the clinic and found the bodies of 35 viable babies in a freezer — some as old as between 33 and 35 weeks gestation,” Sullinger reports. “So immediately, it became a murder investigation.”
